Dissolution of glassy fertlilizers in definite soil environment conditions

The aim of the investigation was to estimate the solubility rate of the glassy mineral fertilizers as related to environmental factors, such as pH, content of nutritive compounds and temperature. After six week incubation of the glassy fertilizers in the soil, the changes on the surface glass-soil environment were measured by use of scanning electron microscopy which allowed qualitative and quantitative analysis in the micro areas. According to the obtained results, the solubility of the glassy fertilizers is strongly affected by the above environment factors
