Influence of organic and mineral fertilization on the nutritive value and macro- and micronutrients composition in cabbage

It was found that the caloric value of cabbages from freshly produced vermicompost was the highest. It was the result of significantly higher contents of fat in cabbages fertilized with this fertilizer. Freshly produced vermicompost enabled obtaining of cabbage with lower contents of lead and cadmium, compared to vermicompost stored for three years. Independently of applied fertilizer, cabbage produced on acidified soil was suitable only for fodder due to exceeded permissible levels of cadmium
