Effect of organic substance in the substrate on the content of cadmium in the edible parts of vegetable crops

The content of organic substance in the samples of substrates oscillated between 2.03 and 89.97 percent. The content of cadmium in the edible parts of vegetables ranged between trace amounts and is 1.8 mg/kg. With the increase of organic substance content in the medium, the cadmium content in the edible parts of vegetables was decreasing
