The aim of the investigations was to estabilish to what degree a crop rotation and monoculture integrated with differentiated soil tillage affects development of potato weed infestation. The number of weeds occurring in monoculture was higher by over 50 percent than in a crop rotation and their air dry matter by 66 percent. A soil tillage method did not influence significantly weed number and mass in potato canopy, while differentiated the weed species composition
