The influence of various combinations of Ca, P and Na salts in the diet on bone ossification in broiler chickens was studied. 300 Isa Vedetta broiler chickens, in 5 experimental groups, were fed on the same basal diet with various combinations of Ca, P and Na. The results revealed greater variability in breast bone than tibia. The birds fed the diet without additional Ca had healthy ossification of bones. Excess Ca did not change its concentration in bone. Na had a considerable impact on ossification. Ca and Na were antagonistic. Generally there was a greater variability in P content of bones than Ca
