Integrated fruit production (IFP) is an indirect method between ecological production and conventional production. The main purpose of this method is obtaining the profitability of full value fruit without detriment to the environment. In the orchards of IFP in the region of Rypin - Brodnica - Lubawa (Poland) low fertilizer doses are used resulting from the correct calculation of nutrient requirements of apple trees on the basis of soil and leaf analysis and observations of trees. Introducing of IFP in this reduced the number of crop protection treatments and resulted in the change of old cultivars susceptible to diseases for new more intensive ones less susceptible to diseases and then requiring less crop protection treatments
