Iron accumulation in Narew river valley near Tykocin

The aim of the paper is to present the results of the study on iron accumulation in the soils of Narew river valley near Tykocin. The river valley is covered with mud-gley and peat-gley soils. The peat or muck horizon of that soils lay on the thin strata of mud. Below at 30-50 cm depth cemented horizons occur. They are hard, 10-30 cm thin, build of iron carbonates or other iron components.
