This report is the first output of the joint endeavor between ICARDA and the Central Anatolian Plateau (CAP) in Turkey to achieve the objective of improving the use-efficiency of available water resources including rain, ground and surface water in CAP. The study is intended to contribute to the gain of a better understanding of the status and the role of supplemental irrigation in the production of wheat in CAP and, to determine the potential, constraints, and research needs for improving the management of this practice for higher and more stable yields
