Method for T cell stimulation with generated dendritic cells

Dendritic cells are a group of mononuclear leucocytes which have immunostimulatory capacity. They present antigenes to T cells most efficiently and are therefore essential for initiating primary immune responses and regulating lymphocyte function. The article describes the techniques used for the generation of dendritic cells and the method for the stimulation of lymphocytes T from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Bacterial lysate of Helicobacter pylori was used as the source of antigens. Lymphocyte activation was evaluated by flow citometry. Activation markers on lymphocytes were established, as well as individually different level of activation of T cells. Potency to stimulate lymphocytes depended on the strains of H. pylori which were used in experiment.
