[Breeding value of the forms of peas with various types of stems, leaves and inflorescences in the Northern Steppe Zone of Ukraine]

One hundred and thirty-five variety samples of peas belonging to various morphological types and possessing economically valuable characteristics are studied. Variety samples and hybridization combinations being used to develop high-yielding breeding lines resistant to drought, frost, pests and diseases are distinguished. An evaluation of breeding lines was conducted in the hybridizing and breeding nurseries. The most productive breeding lines were selected for further breeding. Line No. 426 is introduced into a preliminary reproduction as the Krasnodars'ky 10 variety
