A self-feeder for dispensing loose feeds to animals includes a hopper for the loose feeds with a loading opening and a unloading one, a drum cell doser rigidly set on a driven shaft in the unloading opening, a mechanism of driving (by an animal itself) the shaft of the doser for dispensing feed rates, equipped with a spring-loaded lever with a pressing pedal, and a through. Additionally, the self-feeder is equipped with a device for setting rates of dispensing feeds, made as a doser placed at the shaft freely and coaxially with it, and a disk, attached to the hopper, one of the planes of which is provided with a spiral groove, along the length of which reach-through openings are made, and as a tube rigidly fixed to the driving shaft of the doser. Reach-through grooves are diametrically opposite placed in the walls of the tube, and inside of it a spring-loaded slider is arranged with a support ring and a radial opening at end thereof
