In this paper, the investigation the influence of zeolite in the diet on important performances in fattening lambs was presented. The fattening period lasted 8 weeks in closed stall with three groups of 20 lambs. Their diet contained meadow hay and concentrate. In concentrates used for control group (3) there was no zeolite, and in experimental groups (1 and 2) it was added at the amount of 0.5% and 0.2%. Average body weight at the beginning of fattening period was 23.87 kg and at the end it was 35.97 kg for all three groups (n=60). Average daily gain was 216.33 g for all groups. It was the highest in the group 1 - 220.50 g. Average dressing percentage was 54.21% for all slaughtered animals (n=21). Dressing percentage was slightly better in groups 1. There were no statistically significant differences between groups in all of the observed parameters. The use of zeolite with concentrate mixtures where mycotoxins were not present had no significant influence on weight gain, feed conversion ratio and slaughtering proportions in fattening lambs.
