Pavle Vujevic - the first European hydrologist and Balkanic climatologist

مجهول. Pavle Vujevic (1881-1966) defended his Ph. D. "Die Thess - eine potamologische Studie" at the Faculty of Philosophy in Wien, in 1904. It was really the first study about a river. So, Prof. dr Albreht Penck published it in his "Geographische Abendlungen", in 1906. It was the great honor for the young geographe. Then Vujevic has been invited at Belgrade University. In Belgrade he worked for about five years on the Serbian climate. He spend two years rewriting and examining date in the basement of the Belgrade Observatory. Vujevic worked on the Balkan's climate for nine years before the 1st World War.
