Inhibitory effect of some plant growth regulators and chlorsulfuron on gfrowth, protein composition and proteolytic activity of maize seedlings

Data for growth, proteolytic activity and protein content of maize seedlings treated with 4PU-30 and chlorsulfuron (CS) in an identical high concentration enlarged our knowledge for their relationship and supported the assumption for antagonistic action of these agents with very strong structural similarity. As CS in newly developed and widely used herbicide these results have not only theoretical but also practical significance.
