Algorithm for control of the drying process in chamber with alternative energy supply has been synthesized. It utilizes the energy of both the air and the sun. Executive mechanisms change the debit of the drying agent and the quantity of the energy needed for extra heating of the agent. The drying constant K which determinates moisture detachment of the row material has to be kept steady. The temperature and debit of the air are measured at the exit of the solar collectors. By using this information the debit of the air required for assertion of the assignet drying constant can be calculated. This calculation requires iteration process, based on changes in the debit of the air stream. During the interation process, when the maximum value of the air stream is reached, an extra energy is introducted in the system.
