The main conclusion from these experiments is that differentiated tissue regardless the way they obtained (shoots obtained by micropropagation, rooted shoots, buds, etc.) contain significant cardenolide contents while undifferentiated tissues synthesize smaller content of these compounds but biosynthesis can increase by changing of cultivation conditions: by combination of hormone, adding of yeast extraction etc. Since, examining of biotransformation capacity of cell suspensions of Digitalis lanata occupies big attention in the scientific world at the moment, developing of methods for their cultivation rubs in the rout for experimental continuation in that direction.
