Influence of climate changes on forest growth and vitality

This paper deals with the effects of climatic changes from the aspect of growth and vitality of forests as well as their efficiency to fulfil their ecological and economic functions. It's concluded that professional measures, which are carried out in forestry with the aim of increasing wood volume increment, can considerably increase the vitality of forest ecosystems, their resistance to the activity of damaging factors and their efficiency to fulfil their ecological functions.
