إنجليزي. Climate is an importance crop production factor, but its existence is difficult to control and its influence is difficult to predict. Crops production risk due to climate some times relatively high. To minimize the risk some aspects such as adaptation to climate, substituion of climate element/elements, climate modification and weather forcasting, should be well understood. In the future modern agriculture has to do with the all aspects, because there is no more land where its climate really equable for any crop

Akibatnya resiko produksi tanaman yang ditimbulkan oleh iklim kadang-kadang relatif tinggi. Untuk memperkecil resiko tersebut beberapa gatra (aspek) seperti penyesuaian terhadap iklim, substitusi unsur-unsur iklim, modifikasi iklim dan prakiraan musim perlu difahami. Pertanian maju diwaktu yang akan datang harus melaksanakan berbagai gatra tadi bersama-sama, karena kemungkinan tidak ada lagi lahan yang iklimnya benar-benar sesuai untuk suatu tanaman
