Cryosurgery is well suited for treatment of lesions of the ears, eyes and nose as it causes little haemorrhage, provides good cosmetic results and leads to rapis healing. This paper reports successful treatment of an ocular granulome in a mithun. The mithun (Bos frontalis), a semi wild ruminant of northeastern India, is a cross between gaur (Bos gaur) and domestic cattle (Bos indicus).
