Blood, slaughter and carcass characteristics of male turkeys following quantitative feed restriction between 8 to 16 weeks of age

This experiment was carried out to determine the quantitative amount of feed restriction in male meat turkey (8 to 16 weeks of age) production without affecting some of the blood, slaughter or carcass characteristics of turkeys. It was demonstrated that 14% feed restriction might be used between the 8 and 16 weeks of male meat turkey production to reduce the feeding expenses.
