During 1994-2001 parasitoses in goats, sheep and cattle were investigated to compare their extensity of infection and to detect the character of goat parasitoses in enteroparasitocenoses in several regions of Latvia. The most common goat endoparasitoses in Latvia are strongylatoses of digestive system (E 46.1%), protostrongylidoses (E 40.7%), eimerioses (E 26.6%) and strongyloidosis (E 8.9%). Parasitoses of goats are mostly spread as mixed-infection 67.5%, but only 22.9% as monoinfection. The character of enteroparasitocenosis was different in farms. Dominating mixed-infection was Strongylata spp. with Muellerius capillaris larvae (15.5%) or with several species of Eimeria spp. (14.8%). All three above mentioned mixed-infection of parasitoses were found in 22.9% of all cases. Comparing with sheep and cattle, goats were mostly infected with nematodoses and eimerioses, but less with trematodoses. Monieziosis was mostly found in sheep.
