[The topicality of environmental education at the Latvia University of Agriculture]

The idea of this report is to improve the environmental education at the Latvia University of Agriculture. The basic knowledge of environmental problems should be systematically included in all study levels. Therefore we clarify the situation in environmental education, its goals and tasks as well as an overview of the experience of other countries in this field. There are some proposals on the development and improvement of the environmental education at the Latvia University of Agriculture as a result of this report.
