The experiences of Poland, Finland and Germany in the technology transfer

The article presents Polish, Finnish and German achievements in the construction of research parks and attempts to estimate the possibility of the development of the new technologies transfer between science and industry in the Polish and European conditions. It discusses the Polish governmental support program of innovation transfer, actions taken by regional and local authorities aiming at the utilization of intellectual potential of the regions as well as their scientific research background. It exemplifies the research parks organized and functioning in Poznan, Cracow, Wroclaw, Oulu and Berlin. The organization and management of the parks is also represented in the article. The authoress tries to evaluate the results achieved and indicates the potential and actual benefits of co-operation for all the parties of the partnership - universities, enterprises, local/regional governments. She tries also to present the success factors of the research parks in Poland.
