The lint samples of cotton variety MNH-93 were used. The range for fiber length was observed from 27.13 - 27.74 mm uniformity Index was from 81.44 - 84.22 the mean values for fiber strength was observed from 27.30 - 28.60 gm/tex. The mean values for fiber fineness ranged from 4.12 - 4.46 microgram/inch. As regards the trash content percentage, the mean value ranged from 5.40 - 7.41 percent. For fiber maturity ratio, the range was observed from 0.83 to 0.97. The mean values regarding yarn count due to first nozzle presser (P) ranged from 35.97 to 36.12 while for main draft ratio count ranges from 36.03 to 36.11 whereas for thread tension draft (T), it ranged from 35.73 to 36.37s. The mean values of yarn lea strength due to first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 56.82 to 57.40 Ibs. While for main draft ratio (D), lea strength ranged from 56.444 to 56.667 lbs. Where as for thread tension draft (T), it ranges from 55.22 to 60.40 lbs. Mean values for yarn CLSP ranged from 2043.00 to 2071.00 hanks due to first nozzle pressure (P) while for main draft ratio (D) it ranges from 2037.59-2041.72 hanks. Whereas for thread tension draft (T) yarn CLSP ranges from 1993.00- 2158.00 hanks. The mean values of single yam strength due to first nozzle pressure (P) ranges from 219.1 to 224.6 gms while for main draft ratio (D) it ranged from 220.9 to 223.5 gms and for thread tension draft (T), single yarn strength ranged from 2140 to 235.6 gms. Mean values regarding yarn elongation percentage for first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 5.913 to 6.854 percent and for main draft ratio (D) it ranges from 6.155 to 6.544 percent while for thread tension draft (T), yarn elongation percent ranged from 6.259 to 6.301 percent. The mean values for first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 3.62 to 13.96 g/tex and for main draft ratio (D),yarn RKM ranges from 13.733- 13.892 g/tex. While for thread tension draft (T), its value ranges from 13.32- 14.65 g/tex. The mean values for first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 13.40- 13.77 percent, for main draft ratio (D) 13.48-13.64 percent and for thread tension draft (T) it ranged from 13.28- 14.10 percent. The mean values for first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 99.00-165.4/km, for main draft ratio (D) 123.156- 138.956/km and for thread tension draft (T) 94.36-186.7. The mean values for first nozzle pressure (P) 207.7 to 265.2/km, and for main draft ratio (D), it ranged from 216.067 to 248.533/km and for thread tension draft (T) it ranged from 156.7- 356.9/km. The mean values for first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 350.7 to 513.1/km, for main draft ratio (D) from 386.778 to 455.622/km and for thread tension draft (T) it ranged from 226.7 to 599.1/km. Mean values for first nozzle pressure (P) ranged from 5.365 to 5.838 and for main draft ratio (D) 5.399 to 5.719 and for thread tension draft (T) it ranged from 5.404 to 5.692. It can be concluded that Air-jet spinning is a successful commercial, implementation of fascinated yarn technology. It is relatively recent invention. The proclaimed advantage of air-jet spinning is that it eliminates the separate process of roving and winding. So it reduces the textile making process and ultimate reduces the cost of product. The first nozzle pressure (P) and thread tension draft (T) exerted highly significant effect while main draft ratio (D) remained non-significant for most of the yarn parameters Minimum first nozzle pressure P1 (0.20) yield the yarn with least imperfection and irregularity. Likewise lea-strength and CLSP was maximum at P2, however single yarn strength and RKM value were maximum at maximum pressure P3 (0.30). Maximum thread tension draft T3 (0.98) produced the strongest and regular yarn with minimum imperfection.
