The effect of the weather conditions on nutritive value of the Italian broccoli in the autumn cultivation

The chemical analyses indicated that the individual cultivars accummulated from 9.74 percent to 11.99 percent of dry matter in usable parts. The highest content of vitamin C was found in the roses of Dutch cultivars, particularly in XPH 12212 F1 and Cruiser F1. No significant effect of the cultivar on the content of monosaccharides and total sugars in the roses of the cultivars of the Italian broccoli studied was observed. Cv Lord F1 accumulated the biggest amount of monosaccharides, whereas cv. Cruiser F1 and Lord F1 accumulated the biggest amount of total sugars
