Study of seed development and maturity of super sweet corn var. Kaw Neo WN Khon Kaen was conducted in 10*10 square m plot at Field Crop Section, Faculty of Agriculture, Khon Kaen University. The corn variety was planted by 30*80 cm spacing with one plant per hill. After silking stage, each plant was tagged and ten ears (one from each plant) were sampled every 5 days until 50 days after the silking stage to determine moisture content (percent), size, dry weight, germination and vigour of seeds. The results indicated that the seed of super sweet corn var. Kaw Neo Wan Khon Kaen required 40 days after silking to reach physiological maturity. It contained 38.02 percent moisture content and weighed 8.07 mg/seed dry weight. Seeds at physiological maturity had 92.40 percent germination with the highest vigour in term of speed of germination, seedling dry weight, root and shoot length. This variety had seed dry weight about 6.82 mg/seed at 50 days after the silking stage. It was indicated that under field condition the seed deteriorated lightly after maturation.
