Agroecological special features of fertility of washed soils of various exposition and of an economic purpose in the subzone of usual chornozems in connection with genesis and morphology thereof. It is noted that the fertility of the slope soils according to the profile can be assessed with the aid of indicator crops (pea and barley). On the basis of the data on the quantity and quality of humus, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, physico-chemical properties and enzymatic activity of arable and virgin soils of slopes a dependence is revealed between the level of soil fertility of the slope soils and ecological conditions. It is found out that while the process of soil genesis is taking place in the slope soils the redistribution of the micronutrients occurs in the soil profile: the accumulation in the humus-accumulating horizon and the accumulation of a soluble form of micronutrients, which is caused by changeable acid-alcalic conditions. It is proved that effective fertility of the soils according to the profile, expressed as pea and barley productivity, is conditioned by the arable layer preferably. At the long-term use of humus-transition horizons and the rock the productivity of the crops stated increased by 70-90 %, sometimes by 2 times, that witnesses on mobilization of soil nutrient substances. A conclusion is drawn that the use of macro- and micronutrients by pea and barley depends on the content and availability thereof in soil
