Natural and agroclimatic special features of the Northern Trans-Black Sea Region are investigated in details and three mesoregions are isolated, agroclimatic indices of which depend on the influence of the Black Sea and the Dniester estuary. On the territory of the mesoregions the microclimatic zones are isolated, within the ranges of which one or several natural factors positively influence the development of viticulture, which together with the soil conditions and variety's biological special features can ensure the growing of a unique raw material for wine making. A detailed ampeloecological characteristic of the territory is carried out for three basic farms of the region isolating ampeloecotypes and vine grape varieties for each of them are recommended. An agrobiological characteristic of new complex stable varieties is given, the introduction of which is expedient in order to increase the stability of the ampelocenosis and the stable making of wine products. Elaborated is a long-term complex programme of the development of vine growing and wine making in the Ovidiopol rayon of the Odessa oblast for the years 2003-2015. Recommendations are given on assessing and using the agroecological resources while designing and setting the vineyards
