Calamities, flood and orientation for control in 2002

In Vietnam, for recent years climatic conditions have been occurring in very complicated dynamics resulting in various calamities like drought, flood, etc... In this paper, the author presented in brief the calamities dynamics during recent years and suggested main measures to control calamities in coming years including those for various geological, ecological areas.
