Study on indigenous medicine for treating animals in Khon Kaen, Chaiyapoom and Loei appeared that farmers used many kinds of indigenous medicine for common ailments and health improvement, e.g. sore eye, animal moves with stiffness, burnt wound, diarrhea, foot and mouth disease, bruise, anthelmintics, bloat, laxative, general tonic, insecticides, and astringents. These indigenous medicine comprised of 60 medicinal plants and 9 other products.
