Ecological indices of species of maize crop weed sinusia [in Grahovo Polje, Montenegro (Serbia and Montenegro)] as reliably indicators of habitat characteristics

During the period 1991-1992 we comleted phytocenological investigations of maize crop weeds in Grahovo Polje (Montenegro), at cultivated areas of PTK Niksic. Floristic analysis shows the presence of 21 weed species, for which we determined the ecological indices (F, R, N, L, T), by Landoldt (1977). Domination of: thermophilic (T3), semisciophilic to heliophilic (L4), inhabitants of temporate arid to temporate humid habitats (T3), with slight acid to neutral reaction (R3), and rich in nutrients (N4), is noticed.
