Effect of CCC, kinetin, NAA and KNO, on yield and curcumin content of turmeric

Effect of CCC (250 and 500 ppm), kinetin (10 and 20 ppm), KNO3 (0.55 and 1%) and NAA (50 and 100 ppm) on yeild and curcumin content of turmeric cv. Kasturi Tanaka was examined. Application of all the chemicals influenced the curing percentage, yield of cured produce and curcumin content significantly. NAA and KNO3 treated plants had higher curing per cent, yield of cured produce and curcumin content in turmeric compared to that of kinetin treated plants.
