In order to find optimal usage possibilities, research on synchronous motor with permanent magnet excitation has been performed by using it as generator. Characteristics have been identified with special test stand assistance, which truly demonstrates generator main parameters dependence from active load and from rotation frequency. There have been checked limits for allowable overload. As result has been identified optimal exploitation regime of particular generator and also field of its appliance.
