This study carried out evaluation of performance and chemical composition of broiler chicken meat, while the chickens were fed on fodder with supplement of rape oil, flax seed and alpha-tocopherol. The study concerned live weight and carcass yield, while the carcass investigation included: percentage of breast and leg muscles, abdominal fat and subcutaneous fat with skin. Basic chemical composition of meat, cholesterol content, vitamine-E active compounds in meat, PUFA n-6 and PUFA n-3 content in lipids were analysed too. The carried out analysis did not show any influence of the fatty suplements added to the chicken food on the evaluation of performance and chemical composition of meat. However the relationship between the quantity of abdominal fat and fat content in breast muscles of the chickens fed on fodder with supplement of rape oil has been observed
