This project was pointed in the work program 2001-2006, presented by the Mission for the Development of Organic Agriculture in Madeira's Autonomous Region, which was brought up by the Regional Secretary of Environment and Natural Resources. Its main purpose was the obtaining of Know-how in biologic production mode, the furnishing of plants to agriculturists and the planning of the horticultural production. The Horticulture Department and the Mission collaborated in this project, financed by Madeira's Autonomous Region Development Agency, through the LEADERII
