This study was carried out to investigate the effect of herd size on 305-days milk yield and some reproduction traits in Holstein Cattle growt in Izmir province. Pedigree records and milk yield records obtained from the Holstein Cattle Breeders' Association of Izmir Province between 1996-2000 were used as material. 4 farm groups were established using calving number per year: very small, small, medium and large. The results showed that the effect of herd size on milk yield, calving age, lactation number and calving interval is significantly important and small farms are generally more successful than large farms. But the effect of herd size on first calving age is not important
