A porduction experiment was carried out with 4 groups of 11 calves of 10-15 days of age which were reared in individual boxes on an open air for 60 days. The aim of the study was to determine the influence of the acid lactic bacteria - Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidobacterium bifidum included in the form of acid lactic product in the ration of the suckling calves after the collastrum period on their physiological condition. It was found that the calves which received acid lactic bacteria with probiotic features in addition to the fatty milk formed an non specific resistance of the organism. It was observed by the higher content of immunoglobulines with 472 mg%, 333 mg% and 362 mg% and of the haemoglobine with 1.64%, 0.63% and 0.86% respectively for the I, II and III group compared to the control IV group. These data explain well the tendency for less sick calves, higher gain with 14.42%, 4.70% and 8.42% respectively fo r I, II and III group which rations contained strains of L. casei, L. acidophilus and B. bifidum. Food was also better for I, II anf III group with 17.66%, 4.80% and 8.39% compared to the contorol IV group.
