2005
Chumakov, L.S.(Republican Ecological Centre, Minsk (Belarus))
Results of 8-year (1993-2000) investigations of herbaceous and brush layer development on the upland moor in the conditions of complex anthropogenic impact which included the recreation and change of moor hydrological regime were presented. The studied layer was presented by the following species of vascular plants: Carex rostata Stokes; Eriophorum vaginatum L.; Drosera rotundifolia L.; Ledum palustre L.; Andromeda polifolia L.; Calluna vulgaris (L.) Hill.; Vaccinium uliginosum L.; Vaccinium myrtillus L.; Oxycoccus palustris Pers.; Chamerion angustifolium (L.) Holub. Cotton grass (Eriophorum vaginatum L.) dominated (27.1%) in the initial period. Ledum (Ledum palustre L.) projective cover of was 6.0%. By 1997 cotton grass projective cover raised up to 41.6% and its further growth paused. In 2000 ledum cover was in 7.3 times higher than in 1993. In period from 1997 till 2000 the projective cover and aggregation level of cranberry (Vaccinium ulignosum L.) lowered. In course of the investigation period the part of heliophytes in total layer cover raised from 91% up to 99,5%. Research results of upland moors vegetation showed that the formation of phytocoenoses in greater extend depended on soil watering and recreation regime
