[The aquatic mites (Acari: Hydracarina) in the rivers of Berezinskij biosphere reserve]

The fauna of aquatic mites in the rivers of Berezinskij biosphere reserve was studied. There were found 54 species. The following 14 species were new for the Belarusian fauna: Hydrachna gallica PIERSIG, 1916; Thyas pachystoma KOENIKE, 1914; Lebertia dresdensis VIETS, 1928; Lebertia inaequalis (KOCH, 1837); Lebertia natans VIETS, 1924; Lebertia pilosa MAGLIO, 1924; Sperchonopsis verrucosa (PROTZ, 1896); Atractides pavesii MAGLIO, 1905; Torrenticola amplexa (KOENIKE, 1908); Hygrobates calliger PIERSIG, 1896; Wettina podagrica (KOCH, 1837); Krendowskia latissima PIERSIG, 1895; Arrenurus membranator THOR, 1901; Arrenurus oblongus PIERSIG, 1893. Some of the found spices were found for the first time on the territory of the former USSR. Research results proved that the fauna of aquatic mites was relatively rich and represented by the number of rare for Belarus and Europe species
