Results of selection of active antagonist microorganisms towards lupin and soya pathogens were presented. The following plant pathogenic fungi were studied: Colletotrichum lupini, Botrytis cinerea, Pleiochaeta setosa, Pseudomonas syringae, Xanthomonas phaseoli. In vitro and in vivo experiments showed the destructive influence of the observed antagonists on pathogen growth and its ability to infect the host plants. Complex phytoprotective effect was demonstrated in monoculture (Bacillus sp. M-l) and associations of bacteria-antagonists (B. subtilis BIM B-377 + S. griseoviridis BIM B-264; B. subtilis BIM B-377 + P.fluorescens BIM B-152) against gray mould, anthracnose of lupin and bacterial burn of soya
