The morphofunctional state of reproductive system and several hematologic parameters of male rats after administration of kasoline (biologically active substance evolved from castoreum) without any another treatment or before the low dose (1,0 Gy) of irradiation was studied. In intact animals the application of kasoline caused the growth of testicles relative weight, epididymises, prostate gland and seminal vesicles, number of mature sex cells extracted from epidydimises and DNA contents in testiculare tissue. Research results proved that kasoline possesses the specific radioprotective properties that resulted in restoration of leukocytes number in blood, in growth of quantity of spermatozoids extracted from epidydimises and considerable increase of DNA value in the testis tissue. The obtained effects were more prominent at 30 and 90 days after irradiation
