[New varieties of white clover (Trifolium repens) for pasture use, their productivity and nutritive quality]

The greatest pasturable productivity on the average for 2004-2005 is received at zoned Volat variety (a control variant) and Lirena. The best variety of foreign clover selection Donna has generated productivity of dry matter content of a herbage for the pasturable period below on 11,9 with/ha (11,8 %). It is revealed that by the least adapted to soil-climatic conditions of Belarus and less fruitful was the clover variety Millo which productivity was below a control variant on 49,8 c/ha on the average for two years of research. The maintenance of nutrients in a forage irrespective of a variety completely corresponded to zootechnical norms and has made (in % on dry substance): under the maintenance of a raw protein of 21,1-22,9 %, raw cellulose - 14,3-16,5 %, raw fat - 2,4-3,1 %, raw ashes - 11,6-13,7; üØé-46,0-48,3, calcium 0,43-0,49 and phosphorus of 0,40-0,44 %
