[Analysis of the transceiver devices parameters influence on the metrological characteristics of the primary measuring transformers of microwave moisture indicators of grain]

Analysis of problems of increasing the accuracy of measuring the moisture content in agricultural products with the help of microwave moisture indicators was presented. Problems of provision the identity of reproduction of nominal grade characteristics of devices for the express control of moisture content for the serial production of microwave moisture indicators were analysed. Research results of study of the main parameters of transceiver devices and their influence on the metrological characteristics of microwave moisture indicators of grain were presented. The obtained calculations showed that the deviations of the aerials aperture size exercised less influence on the overall uncertainty in measuring the microwave energy attenuation by moist material and consequently by the moisture content than the deviations of the acrial height. The experimental control of the obtained ratios proved the presence of favorable coincidence (within 10%) with the calculated parameters. The obtained research results were implemented for the equipment design of the serial production of initial transformers of laboratory and conveyer microwave moisture indicators of the “Microradar” line
