In the frame of several projects the structure of ichthyofauna, the distributions and the domination of species in the Gruza river and its reservoir were studied. It was stated the presence of 21 species and a hybrid of fish, as and one species of ciklostome. In Gruza river the chub, Leusiscus cephalus is eudominant, and dominant are the bleak Alburnus alburnus, the broouk barb Barbus peloponnesius and the roach Rutilis rutilus. The other species belongs to the subdominant, the recendent and the sub recendent groups. Qualitative composition of the ichthyofauna changes in the Gruza river with reservoir, with respect that in reservoir, Carasius gibelio dominates, and it is followed with Alburnus alburnus, Leuciscus cephalus, Perca fluviatilis, Esox lucius and Cyprinus carpio, according to percentage of presence. The study of morphology species included meristic properties of species, the study of feeding and evolution of reproductive potential is accomplished on the individual apsolute and population fertility, the correlative and the regression dependence between the fertility and the body length, as well as the fertility and the body weight. From this the analysis of population level effect and water quality to ichthyofauna was accomplished.
