This study has investigated the effect of inoculation on nitrogen fixation in pea variety Cudo Amerike. Just before sowing, the pea seed was inoculated with effective strains of Rhizobiun leguminosarum bv. viciae D1 and 26 D, effective strains of Azotobacter, and strains of Actinomycetae 5, 7 and 9 K. Plant mass of above-ground plant parts and root, plant dry matter mass and nitrogen content were determined at flowering. Grain dry matter mass per plant, number of pods formed, grain number per pod and nitrogen content in grain number were measured at physiological maturity. The study results showed that inoculation had positive effect on the plant length, dry matter mass, grain dry matter mass, pod number per plant, grain number per pod, plant nitrogen content, and nitrogen content in grain.
