Biodiversity of Aegilops genera in Montenegro

The results of expedition conducted in order to collect samples and data of Aegilops sp. genetic variability in Montenegro during 2003, are presented in this article. Considerable variability was noted, and several Aegilops species were collected at 28 localities, on thin stony layer of red or brown soil, on sunny expositions at up to 300 m of altitude, rarely higher.
