Influence of fertilizing, by NPK fertilizers, and irrigation to the yield and quality of [the grapevine cultivar of] Vranac

During the period of 1999-2002, the yield, quality of grapes and vegetative potential of Vranac grapevine variety were studied in the conditions of irrigation by flooding with application of two manners of soil maintenance, shallow cultivation and overgrowing with grass, with and without applying NPK fertilizers. On the basis of the results obtained, we can state that the yield of grapes and vegetative potential (rankeness of vine) were higher in the conditions of applying NPK fertilizers not with standing the manner of soil maintenance. Otherwise these parameters had higher values on the plots maintained by shallow more frequent cultivation. Content of sugar and acids in the must was almost the same regardless the way of soil maintenance and application of NPK fertilizers.
