One of the basic principle of the world energetics is energy production, utilization influences reduction to environment. The world developed countries fight for environment protection finished with Rio-de-Janeiro conference in 1992, where all world was warned for dangerous what could happen if continuous too intensive fossil fuel burning. The Latvia during last 10 years ratified the following international law projects: in 1994 - United National Climate Change Convention and in 1997 - Kyoto Protocol, what require Latvia to reduce emission level in 2012 to 92% from 1990 statistical volume. My investigation target is inspects and values biogas, fossil fuel uses in diesel engines. An emission research of MAN B and W (Denmark) and Jenbacher (Austria) diesel engines what operates on fossil fuel and biogas have been made. The made research shows that diesel engines are most effective to operate on biogas and natural gas because products not include HC and hard particles what shortening diesel engines life and make expensive and problematic engines maintenance.
