[Evaluation methods of biological activity in peat substrates]

During the last few years use of peat substrate in pot planting has grown. In this article author analyzes mycorrhizal fungi Paxillus involutus, Laccaria laccata, Hebeloma crustuliniforme, Piceirhiza bicolorata, Amanita pantherina, Amanita muscaria and Cenococcum sp. mycelium development in Joint Stock Company Sedas kudra and Laflora Ltd. prepared peat substrates. Evaluation of mycorrhizal fungi mycelium development was carried out using a method developed in Latvian State Forestry Research Institute Silava.
