The study aimed on estimation the influence of long-term cropping systems and fertilization on choosen chemical soil properties of arable layer medium soil. Differentiated fertilization and cropping systems continued since 1957 brought about certain changes in soil chemical properties. Soil pH under crops grown both in crop rotation and monoculture after manuring remainded on initial level, 6.0. Mineral fertilization or lack of it increased soil acidity. Manuring has been the basic factor which caused changes in chemical properties of soil. Application of FYM every year resulted in a increase in soil contents of organic carbon, total nitrogen and available forms of P, K and Mg as compared to mineral fertilization
